Do the “jeopardy review” activity as HW.

In the Make Extension, students conduct experiments to determine the role of gravity in the solar system.

*Zoom meeting for this week will be communicated via the Matrix and Google Classroom.

Language Arts: Week 5 of “At Home Learning”, we will have a figurative language test! I will be giving two assignments and students will need to complete their study guide and submit it before taking the test. Students will have Monday-Wednesday to complete 1) Figurative Language Study Guide and then Thursday-Friday for 2) Figurative Language Test.

Reading: As we near the end of Holy Week and look ahead to Easter and a short break from school, I want to wish everyone a Happy Easter. There will be no specific reading assigned over the break, but hopefully your 5th grader will use this time to enjoy his/her choice of reading material.

One request for all over the long break is to make sure that your child’s device and google account is labeled with his or her first name and last initial only. We cannot allow students into our Zoom meetings unless we recognize who they are by their correct first names. Some have given themselves nicknames that we don’t recognize making it impossible to know who is asking to join a meeting. I will only be able to admit students whose names I recognize. Thank you for your assistance with this. Mrs. McFaul

Religion: Students begin Chapter 19, The Call to Serve. In this chapter, students will learn about vocations that serve God and others. Students will learn why the Sacraments of Holy Orders and Matrimony are known as the Sacraments of Service.

Have a blessed Easter!
